Online marketing strategies change in response to other changes, such as changes in technology, consumer behavior and analytic feedback from past performance. There are many factors to consider when developing an online marketing strategy and the needed ingredient to be effective is agility. Adopting agile methods to respond to change and new emerging trends mean testing current marketing strategies, using an open feedback loop that allows those working closely with customers to add their insight and input into strategy decisions, conducting small experiments to gauge the effectiveness of a new strategy and using smaller teams who can work independently in a transparent manner. This allows quicker responses that increase the effectiveness of online marketing strategies.

The marketer who reach them first will have others scrambling to catch up.
